Dear Tom Williams’ Families,

 

It is an honor to remain the principal of  Tom Williams Elementary School.  I can assure you that I share in this school community’s dedication to caring for our students every day while providing them with an engaging and meaningful learning environment. 

 

The 2021-2022 school year will mark my 17th year in education. Throughout my career, I have served as a Classroom Teacher, English Language Learner Specialist, Learning Strategist, and Assistant Principal.  The elementary principalship will provide me the chance to work collaboratively with families and teachers, while also remaining connected to young students learning and growing in the classroom.  I have a deeply rooted belief that all children can excel and the partnership between home and school builds confidence in students to reach their potential to be college and career ready.  

 

I am committed to always exploring new ways to meet the needs of all students and more effectively communicate with parents and community members.  We will be meeting with parents throughout the year to provide information on how you can support your children at home and identify specific goals in the areas of student achievement, school climate, and parent communication.
