Important Dates

By the deadline of August 1, 2023, all Clark County School District public and charter schools that enroll ELLs are required to post a copy of the rights described in AB 195 on their respective Internet websites in as many languages as possible. By the deadline of March 30, 2024, all secondary school sites must report data for ELL participation in athletics and extracurricular activities. Athletic and activity directors at each secondary school will be asked to provide the number of ELL students by grade level who participated in one or more of the following sports or extracurricular activities during the 2023–2024 school year. If an ELL student participated in more than one sport or extracurricular activity, the student should be counted only once. Requests for this information will begin in March 2024 and come from the assigned ELLD Region coordinator.
